New Digital Banking

Important Dates/Details

As we transition to the new digital banking platform, there will be a scheduled blackout period to upgrade our Bill Pay service. If you currently use Bill Pay, there is some key information you should know:

Monday, Nov 10 at 9 AM CT through Wednesday, Nov 12 - You won’t be able to add, cancel, or modify any bill payment transactions during this time. Any scheduled payments will still process as usual during this period.

Wednesday, Nov 12 - Your new digital experience goes live. You’ll be able to add, cancel, or modify bill payment transactions again. All your existing payees and scheduled payments will carry over automatically.

New Mobile App

On November 12th, be sure to download our new mobile app. It’s your gateway to all the upgraded features and enhanced security.

Just search for AmericasCU in your app store or scan the QR code when available to install the latest version. Once you’ve downloaded the app, follow the first-time login steps to get started. It’s quick and secure—and you’ll be set up in no time.

QR Code to App Stores will be available on November 12th.

Mobile Devices

Visit your app store to get the most updated version of the new digital banking application AmericasCU. Once the app is open:

Log in using your existing credentials — enter your User Name and Password, then click “Log In.”
Secure your account by clicking “Create new password.”
Verify your identity by entering the following information:
- Current User Name
- Social Security Number
- Date of Birth
- Last Name Then click “Continue.” Review the disclosure, select “I agree,” and click “Continue.”
Select your password reset method — to receive a one-time passcode via SMS, choose the device you'd like to use, click “Continue,” enter the verification code you receive, and click “Verify.”
Create your new password — if your current password meets all requirements, you may reuse it. Otherwise, your new password must:
- Be at least 12 characters long
- Include at least one uppercase letter
- Include at least one special character
- Include at least one number
Confirm your contact information and agree to the E-Statement and Digital Banking Disclosure & Agreement terms.

You have successfully logged into the new digital banking platform and now have access to the updated dashboard — your gateway to all the features you need.

Go to AmericasCU.org and click “Login” at the top right of the screen.

Log in using your existing credentials — enter your User Name and Password, then click “Log In.”
Secure your account by clicking “Create new password.”

NEW DIGITAL BANKING FAQs

Will I need to create a new username and password?

Existing user: You may reuse your existing credentials, provided your password meets the following requirements: it must be at least 12 characters long, include uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and at least one special character.

New user: Select a password that is at least 12 characters long, includes uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and at least one special character.
What do I do if I have forgotten my username and/or password?

Navigate to the Login page for online banking, open the mobile app, and click on the "forgot Username or Password" link to reset your credentials.
Will my transaction history still be available?

Yes, all your transaction history for the last 24 months will be available in the new system. If you need access to earlier information, you can easily access eStatements through online banking or the mobile app.
What's going to be different in the new platform?

Once you log in, you'll immediately notice a new streamlined design with improved navigation, giving you quick access to the information and tools you need to manage your money. Additionally, you'll now see all your accounts through a single login. This will include accounts where you are a primary owner or joint owner.
Will I need to update my Mobile App?

If you have an iOS device, please visit the Apple Store to update the app. If you have an Android device, please delete the old app and download the new version in the Google Play Store. We recommend enabling automatic updates to ensure seamless functionality in the future. Your new AmericasCU mobile app icon will look like this:
Can I use my same password when setting up access to the new system?

Yes, as long as your current password meets the system requirements.

Will all of my Bill Pay data transfer over?

Bill Pay payees, history, and scheduled payments will transfer over. Once you are in the new system, please review all of your scheduled Bill Pay payments, and if necessary, re-setup any that may be missing.
Will the external accounts I previously setup be visible in the new system?

Yes, any external accounts that you previously set up will be transferred over ot the new system.

Will my current account alerts transfer over to the new system?

No, you will need to setup any account alerts again in the new system. You will now have access to even alert options and a full suite of card alerts.
